Mount Airy Youth Athletic Association - Code of Conduct

Mount Airy Youth Athletic Association (MAYAA)- Core Values

Development - Family - Integrity - Safety - Sportsmanship

I agree:

My guests and I will support a positive youth sports environment by showing respect and courtesy to players, coaches, officials, and spectators at every game, practice, and team event.

I will support the program and its participants without the use of abusive and/or profane language.

I will respect the officials and their authority during the games and never approach officials to argue or complain about their calls.

I will demand a sports environment that is free from drugs, tobacco, and alcohol and will refrain from their use at all sports events.

I will ensure that my child, their siblings, and guests will only be allowed in designated areas of practices and events and they will never be left unattended.

I will supervise my child(ren) when at MAYAA events.

I will contact my coach or the Commissioner to discuss any concerns and schedule a time to talk at an agreed upon time.

I will teach my child to respect other players, coaches, officials, and spectators regardless of their race, creed, color, gender, or ability.

I understand that failure to follow the above expectations may result in suspension from the event. Repeat violations will cause multiple event suspensions or the possibility of forfeiting the privilege of attending all games, practices, and team events.
